REDBULL rookie driver LIAM LAWSON is going to replaced by RACING BULLS driver YUKI TSUNODA before Japanese grand prix.The rookie Lawson’s poor performance after 3 races (one sprint race in china) cost his REDBULL seat on line . Dutch newspapers De Telegraaf and De Limburger reported on Tuesday that Honda-backed Tsunoda would swap seats with Lawson as Max Verstappen’s teammate from next week’s Japanese Grand Prix.
Lawson promoted from Racing bulls replaced Mexican driver checo perez along side 4 time world champion MAX VERSTAPPEN. LAWSON has struggled in his first two race weekends in Australia and China.
The 23 tear old Lawson was at Red Bull’s 2024 juniar team– Visa Cash App RB – with Tsunoda for six races last season, after being drafted in as a replacement for Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo, and was then preferred for the Red Bull seat.
While MAX is eight point behind the championship leader Lando Norris and Lawson has yet to score a point
